Ethylene-Acrylate Rubber (AEM) or VAMAC®.

Properties

• Good temperature range from -60º C to +175º C constant and up to +200º C intermittently.
• Excellent resistance to ozone and weathering.
• At elevated temperatures it exhibits reasonable mechanical properties, bur lower compression set characteristics.
• Good general resistance to heat, water and steam.
• Resistance to chemicals; moderate resistance to oils, natural fats and some salts. Not normally recommended for use with aliphatic hydrocarbons, aromatics, chlorate or alkalis.
